To develop these new machines with a lower risk of launch failure by, wherever possible, using already developed and proven core technologies such as the motors, controllers and MMI interfaces. Our strategy being to design new “skeletons” that result in new machines for new markets … while the majority of core components are from machines already developed. The goal is faster product development cycles, lower risk of performance / reliability issues, higher aggregated total sales of high-margin products, better amortization of engineering costs plus the maintaining of a significant barrier to entry for potential competitors.https://restaurantmartinwishart.co.uk/atom/4203

Where possible, customers being shipped ‘kits’ for the repair and/or upgrading of their machines so that the customer’s onsite, unskilled workers can quickly and easily repair their machines. Directions provided by a navigable video on a tablet provided in the box the parts are shippedin – the same box that replaced parts are returned in. The customer would replace modules (and potentially consumables also,“buying” them from the kit) and the exchanged modules/parts. On arrival at a PowerHandling repair site, our in-house tech’s review, photograph, warranty-confirm and cost/invoice the customer directly. To achieve this support model, machines need to be designed with this repair strategy in mind. Our machines need to be a) compact, b) modular, and c) have the skeleton separable from the core components. The result would be lower customer support costs, faster turn-around times and a more technologically efficient in-house repair operation with higher margins.

A broad range of superior products – more functional and cost-effective than competitor offerings. To include i) distributed warehousing, ii) direct distribution (wherever possible) and iii) strategic partnerships (in smaller locations/industry sectors) with an efficient and cost-effective internet/e-commerce presence supporting this operation.
