    Privacy Policy

    Last Updated: May 19, 2026

    Introduction

PowerHandling Inc. ("PowerHandling," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website at powerhandling.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have regarding that information.

PowerHandling designs and supplies industrial material handling equipment to businesses. Our Site is intended for a business-to-business (B2B) audience — typically plant managers, operations directors, procurement teams, and other commercial users. The Site is not directed at consumers or children.

By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with how we handle information as described here, please discontinue use of the Site.

    Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you provide to us voluntarily, and information collected automatically as you browse the Site.

    Information You Provide Voluntarily

When you fill out a contact form, request a demo, subscribe to updates, or chat with us, you may share:

    • Name, email address, company name, phone number, and job title
    • Product(s) of interest and the contents of your message
    • Anything you choose to share with our live chat widget
    • Email address provided for newsletters or product update subscriptions, if offered

    Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically receive certain technical information when you visit, including:

    • IP address and approximate location derived from it
    • Browser type, version, language, and device or operating system information
    • Pages viewed, time spent on the Site, and the referring URL
    • Timestamps and basic interaction events used for analytics and security

    How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

    • Respond to inquiries, demo requests, quote requests, and other questions you send us
    • Provide customer support and technical assistance
    • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the experience of using it
    • Send you relevant product or service information when you have indicated interest or opted in
    • Protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and security threats
    • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

    Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

    Service Providers

We rely on trusted vendors to host and operate the Site. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us:

    • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery (R2 CDN for images, video, and 3D models), and edge security
    • Neon — managed Postgres database used to store form submissions and Site content
    • Formilla — the live chat widget on the Site; messages you send via chat are processed by Formilla on our behalf
    • Google Workspace / Gmail — used to deliver and review messages submitted through our contact form

PowerHandling may, in the future, also use analytics and verification tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or Meta Pixel. If we do, we will update this policy accordingly.

    Legal & Business Transfers

    • We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PowerHandling, our users, or others.
    • If PowerHandling is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled consistently with this policy.

    Cookies & Tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files placed in your browser that help websites function and remember context between requests.

    Essential / Security Cookies

Set by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to keep the Site secure and operational. Examples include:

    • __cf_bm — Cloudflare bot management
    • _cfuvid — Cloudflare session identifier used for rate limiting and bot defense

More information is available in Cloudflare's cookie documentation.

    Third-Party Cookies

The live chat widget provided by Formilla loads a third-party script and may set its own cookies to support chat sessions. Review Formilla's privacy policy for details on what it collects.

    Analytics Cookies

PowerHandling may introduce analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics) to understand how the Site is used. These would set their own cookies if and when enabled, and this policy will be updated to reflect them.

    Your Browser Controls

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Disabling essential cookies may impact how parts of the Site work.

    Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions, chat transcripts, and related correspondence for 90 days from the date of submission, after which they are automatically deleted from our active systems.

You can request immediate deletion of your data at any time — see How to Exercise Your Rights below. We will send a confirmation link to your email and remove your records as soon as you confirm.

Security and analytics logs handled by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, are typically retained for around 90 days, in line with Cloudflare's standard practices.

When information is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it. Backups taken prior to a deletion may persist for up to 30 days before they roll off the schedule.

    Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights over the personal information we hold about you, including the right to:

    • Access the personal information we have about you
    • Request that we correct inaccurate information
    • Request deletion of your personal information
    • Object to or restrict certain processing
    • Request a portable copy of the information you provided to us
    • Withdraw consent where processing is based on your consent

    EU / UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights described above under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

    California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:

    • Know what personal information we collect, use, and share
    • Request access to or deletion of your personal information
    • Correct inaccurate personal information
    • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information
    • Be free from discrimination for exercising your rights

PowerHandling does not sell your personal information.

    How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@powerhandling.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.

For deletion requests: we offer a self-serve confirmation flow. Submit your email and we'll send a one-time confirmation link to that address; clicking it removes all contact and chat records associated with it from our active systems. The link expires in 24 hours and can only be used once.

    Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. PowerHandling does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

    Third-Party Links

The Site may include links to third-party websites, products, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party before sharing information with them.

    International Users

PowerHandling is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S.

    Security

PowerHandling uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to highlight them on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after updates take effect constitutes your acknowledgement of the revised policy.
